The standard deal

Same terms for everyone.
Posted in public.

No discovery call to learn a price. No custom contract to redline. This page is the deal — every number, every catch, readable in four minutes. The agreement you sign says what this page says.

Term 01 · Ownership

You own everything. We run it.

The product, the code, the data — yours, exportable any time, nothing held hostage. We host and operate it as part of every plan, because owning the runway is what makes one-day turnarounds possible. What you're paying for is the team, not the artifact.

Term 02 · Iteration

Unlimited change requests, forever

Every tier, before launch and after, any size, never metered. Tiers change how many engineers you get and how fast work comes back — never how much you're allowed to ask for. This is the whole point of the model and it will never have an asterisk.

Term 03 · The free period

Free until launch — or 90 days, whichever comes first

We build your product for free while you iterate: no deposit, no card, no invoice. The free period ends the day you launch or on day 90, whichever arrives first. Ninety days is enough to launch anything we agree to take on — the clock is there so free never means forever-stalled.

Term 04 · What counts as launched

"Launch" is defined in writing at kickoff

The earliest of: your product is publicly available, it takes its first real transaction, or you announce it to the world. One more, in fairness to both of us: if the product meets the acceptance criteria we set together and you choose not to ship it, it counts as launched. Done work is done work.

Term 05 · When money starts

Signed at kickoff, billed at launch

You sign the subscription before we write a line, at the posted prices — $5,000/mo Launch or $8,000/mo Scale — and it starts billing only when you launch. Every number is known on day zero. Nothing about price is ever discussed again, which is exactly how you want it when you're mid-launch.

Term 06 · The equity option

On free builds, we may take a small stake — never more than 5%

Elected at kickoff, in the open, standard paperwork — in exchange for months of senior engineering at zero cash. Compare it to the 30–50% a technical cofounder costs. Rather keep 100%? Start on Launch and skip the free period entirely. Both paths are posted; you pick.

Term 07 · The slot cap

Your free build gets the same team as paid work

We can only promise that by capping free work hard: at most two free builds run at once, company-wide, no exceptions — posted here. When both slots are taken you can hold a place in line or start on Launch immediately. If free felt unlimited, it would be a lead-capture trick; the cap is what makes it real.

Term 08 · Walking away

Abandon mid-build: a flat $2,500 kill fee

If you walk away before launch, a flat $2,500 covers the work done — that's the whole exposure. And for six months from kickoff we're the only team that works on what we built for free. Your export rights never lapse; the exclusivity just means the free build can't be a free head start for another shop.

Who qualifies

The deal is standard; admission isn't automatic. We take work we know we'll be exceptional at, and we say so up front.

Our sweet spot

Business software with real users and real state: approvals and intake pipelines, dashboards and internal tools, client portals, memberships and billing, bookings and listings, back-office platforms. If your product is a workflow, we are the best team you can get at any price.

We'll decline

Games, products that are themselves a novel AI model (AI features on a workflow product are welcome), native-mobile-first apps, hardware companions, deep realtime or banking-core integrations, and social networks. Not because they're bad ideas — because you deserve a team that's exceptional at them.

Proof of hustle, required

Every free build starts with evidence the business is real: revenue, a waitlist, letters of intent, a raise, an accelerator, or proof you're out selling right now. No proof, no free build — that bar is what keeps the free tier funded for founders who've earned it.

The guarantee

If the paper ever disagrees with this page, the page wins.

We don't negotiate — not because we're precious, but because you shouldn't need a lawyer to get a product built. One deal, posted where your cofounder, your investors, and our next client can all read it.

Read it? That was the hard part.

No call needed to start — tell us what you're building and we take it from there.
